Pay Scale: Pay Band-3 Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 7600/-
Educational Requirements: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Meteorology / Oceanography / Atmospheric Science / Physics/ Geophysics / Mathematics / Applied Mathematics/ Statistics from a recognized university with at least first class (60%) at Post Graduation level.
Qualifications: M.Tech degree in the relevant field as per (i) above and two years research experience in the relevant field with familiarity in UNIX, Fortran/ C/C++
Experience Requirements: Three years experience in the field of Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology/
Oceanography. Familiarity with UNIX, FORTRAN.

Desired Skills: Work experience in numerical modeling of the atmosphere and
ocean, meteorological data processing, data assimilation, climate modeling, statistical analysis of weather and climate data.
